Please disregard the women's MX classes on the men's points. You need to go to the women's MX link for the current points for that division.

Have you checked out the 2008 Points lately? More and more divisions are listing their points on the District 14 site! The points for Vintage MX, ATV Hare Scrambles, Hill Climb, ATV MX, and the ATV MX State Championship Series have all been updated in the past month.

To check out the points page, simply use the link at the left titled "2008 Points". You can also view points for your division by selecting you division from the drop-down menu on the top of the page and then clicking the Points button.

The points for the Dirt Track and TT Scrambles divisions have been updated and are current as of 7-29. To view the points, click one of the links below:

As always, you may also click the "2008 Points" link in the menu on the left side of the page, or select the division you want from the menu at the top of the page, and then click the "Points" button.

The 2008 Michigan Mafia Championship Series continues with Round 2 at FreelinMX this weekend June 21 & 22. This series has over $200,000 in contingency dollars to award to this year's riders (Sundays only). It's sure to have thrills by the minute, so don't miss it! Log Road is ready to race March 22 & 23! Don't forget about open riding on March 21st from 10:30am to 5:00pm!

We are sorry to say that Log Road MX will not be running Practice on March 15th or Racing on March 16th at this time. There is still too much frost on the ground for safe riding condition in the morning hours. We will continue to work on the track daily as it has improved a little each day.

We are confident that with about three more days of work and sunny days we will have a track that the riders will be safe and happy with for our scheduled March 21st practice and races on March 22nd & 23rd.

Former AMA District 14, AHRMA Motocross, WERA and AMA Road Racer Fritz Kling of Lansing, Michigan, has been diagnosed with inoperable terminal brain cancer. A benefit for Kling is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at the Bath Charter Township Community Center, located at 5959 Park Lake Road, Bath, Michigan, 48808. The benefit will include an auction of donated items. A bank account and a PayPal account have also been set up to receive donations to benefit Kling's family. February is right around the corner and I've been busily preparing for my first edition (March '08) of Michigan's District 14 News.

Kip Bigelow Named Chairman by the Promoters!

I am both thrilled and excited to see Kip take this role within the DFCC Board of Directors.

The MX Group is extremely important to District 14 (as are all divisions) and its leadership is vital to its continued success.

I was honored and blessed to sit in a year as interim chairman after Bart Newman stepped down after 13 years leaving big shoes to fill.

I cannot express enough how lucky we are here to have such great leadership and dedication in a volunteer group of Board of Directors!
