Dirt Track Division
(Go Fast, Turn Left)
If you've ever had the desire to pitch a motorcycle sideways in a corner, then accelerate through a controlled broad slide, dirt-track racing is the place for you. Dirt track races are run on various lengths of prepared oval tracks: short tracks, which are less than 2,250 feet in circumference; half-miles, measuring from 2,250 feet up to roughly five-eighths of a mile; and miles, which as the name implies are a mile in circumference.
As in all types of AMA amateur racing, classes are available for riders in different age groups and skill levels and on a wide variety of machine types and sizes. Each year, the amateur dirt-track season culminates with the AMA National Championships in short-track, and half-mile competition.

Per the AMA, we have had to modify one of our rules. Please note this rule change takes effect immediately.
The rule BEFORE:
401cc + OPEN VINTAGE, 1982 and older, two-cycle and four cycle, one intake and one exhaust valve per cylinder only, new motorcycles of the same design are also eligible, no liquid cooled. This will be in effect through the 2014 season.
The rule NOW:

If you have any questions, let me know.

If you that like using the internet, you can now purchase your D14 card online through Paypal.
NOTE: There has now been a change on when your card expires. It will now expire one year later from the date you purchased the card. There should be a sticker on the back of the card with your expiration date.
This is new for this year. So everyone must buy a new card. If you purchased your card the middle of last year, this new procedure does not apply. Everyone must buy a new card for this to take affect. |
